Student-athletes earn conference academic honors

NDSU student-athletes earned several academic honors from the Summit League.

A total of 102 student-athletes were named to the Summit League’s 2011-12 Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence. NDSU tied for second with South Dakota State University for the league’s Institutional Academic Achievement Award with 71 percent of its list-eligible student-athletes honored. 

In addition, 111 student-athletes made the Summit League’s Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. In order to be selected to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 or better grade-point average in the semester in which they compete.
