Robert Sylvester, professor of pharmacy practice, wrote the chapter “Anemia” in the recently released third edition of “Pharmacotherapy Principles and Practice.” The textbook used a solid evidence-based approach to teach readers how to design, implement, monitor and evaluate medication therapy. Chapters are written or reviewed by pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physicians who are authorities in their fields.
