Carla Gross, MSN, RN, who has been with the NDSU nursing program since 1987, has been appointed Chair of the Department of Nursing. Professor Gross earned a BSN degree at the University of North Dakota in 1982 and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 1987. She is a PhD candidate at NDSU. Her area of research interest is interdisciplinary education and her clinical expertise is intensive care.
Professor Gross and her husband, Dean Gross, Ph, RN, FNP-C, have three children: Emily, an engineer in Minneapolis-St. Paul; Jacob, an accounting student at NDSU; and Alyssa, a sophomore at Fargo, North High School.
