Common Minors for Nursing Students
Some students opt to pursue a minor of study while completing the nursing program. This is optional. There are a variety of reasons why students may choose to pursue a minor. Students may need additional credits to reach full-time status or are simply interested in pursuing a topic of interest outside of the nursing field.
Common minors chosen by nursing students include (but are not limited to):
- Gerontology
- Human Development and Family Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Strategic (Health) Communication
- Wellness
