Purchase an NDSU Parking Permit
ANNUAL PERMITS
2024-25 annual permits are on-sale now. All annual permits are valid from July 1, 2024 - August 15, 2025. Vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers are eligible to purchase parking permits online by creating a guest account or logging into an existing account. All NDSU permits are non-refundable and valid payment options include debit or credit cards only. NDSU permits become valid upon purchase and are not allowed in: pay lots, no parking zones, fire lanes, sidewalks, state fleet lots, reserved spaces, streets, sidewalks or campus green spaces.
Vendors, contractors, consultants and service providers will have multiple permit types to choose from. Please see the options below and choose which lot location(s) work best for you. Parking lot locations can be viewed within the NDSU Parking Map.
Reminder, all annual permits (with the exception of FargoDome permits) are valid in the Research Park lots.
Main Campus Options:
- Northeast permits - valid in CF, F, RF & W lots
- Northwest permits - valid in AR, B, FM & PS lots
- Southeast permits - valid in AD & BA lots
- Southwest permits - valid in AE & TA lots
- FargoDome permits - valid in FargoDome C, D & E lots only
Downtown option:
- Downtown Campus permits - valid in BH, KH, RH & T2 lots

Main Campus Permits: $185.00
Downtown Campus Permits: $185.00
FargoDome Permits: $60.00
TEMPORARY PERMITS
Temporary permits may be purchased online for short-term parking for select parking lots around campus. You will be asked to select a specific parking lot from the following options: AD, AR, CF, FM, RF, RP, TA, W and the NDSU downtown lots. Please view the NDSU Parking Map for lot locations. Temporary permits are non-refundable and can only be paid with a debit/credit card.

Temporary Permits: $2.00 a day
Online Purchasing Instructions
Please read all the below instructions carefully.
- Make sure you allow for all cookies and pop ups.
- Visit the NDSU Parking Portal(If you currently have an account, proceed to step 5).
- Select NDSU Contractor or NDSU Vendor as your classification.
- Click Create Account.
- Log into your account.
- Select Get Permits and read the permit instructions before proceeding to the purchase pages.
- Select the type of permit you are looking for and proceed with your purchase.
- Please read your receipt and pay close attention to all delivery/print out instructions.
