Purchase an NDSU parking permit

Annual Permits

2024-25 tenant employee parking permits are on-sale now! Tenant employee permits are sold to individuals who are not employed by NDSU but have offices on the NDSU campus and need to utilize NDSU parking lots.

Valid payment options include debit/credit cards only. Tenant employee permits are non-refundable and each individual is eligible for one parking permit.  Tenant employee permits become valid upon purchase and expire August 15, 2025.

Tenant employees have multiple parking permit options. For all lot locations, please view the NDSU Parking Map.
Reminder, with the exception of FargoDome permits, all annual permits are valid in the Research Park lots.

Main Campus Options:

  • Northeast permits - valid in CF, F, RF & W lots
  • Northwest permits - valid in AR, B, FM & PS lots
  • Southeast permits - valid in AD & BA lots
  • Southwest permits - valid in T2, AE & TA lots
  • FargoDome permits - valid in FargoDome C, D & E lots only

Downtown option:

  • Downtown Campus permits - valid in BH, KH, RH & T2 lots

Temporary Permits

Temporary permits may be purchased online for short-term parking  for select parking lots around campus. You will be asked to select a specific parking lot when purchasing. Please view the NDSU Parking Map for lot locations. Temporary permits are non-refundable and can only be paid with a debit/credit card.

Temporary Permits: $2.00 a day

 

Online Purchasing Instructions

Please read all the below instructions carefully.

  1. Make sure you allow for all cookies and pop ups.
  2. Visit the NDSU Parking Portal(If you currently have an account, proceed to step 5).
  3. Select NDSU Tenant Employee as your classification.
  4. Click Create Account.
  5. Log into your account.
  6. Select Get Permits and read the permit instructions before proceeding to the purchase pages.
  7. Proceed with your purchase.
  8. Please read your receipt and pay close attention to the delivery/print out instructions.
