If you wish to become a physician, a physician assistant, an optometrist, a dentist, a podiatrist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a chiropractor or an osteopath, this website and its links may answer some of your questions about pre-health professional advising available at North Dakota State University.

The College of Science and Mathematics at North Dakota State University (NDSU) provides resources and advising services to students and alums who are interested in health-related professional schools (medicine, allopathic and osteopathic medicine, dental medicine, optometric medicine, physician's assistant programs, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and podiatric medicine) and related fields.

Pre-professional programs usually consist of four years of college. This is generally followed by three or four additional years in a professional school.

All pre-health students are encouraged to consult with the Pre-Health Advisor(s) to plan and review their course of study and other requirements necessary for admission into professional schools.
