Traditional healers panel held May 2

On May 2, the American Indian Public Health track of the MPH Program was honored to host a Traditional Healers Panel as part of Donna Grandbois' class Cultural Competence in American Indian Health.

The Traditional Healers included (seated) Rick Two Dogs (Oglala Lakota and Dr Warne's uncle), Francis Country (Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate), and Willard Yellow Bird (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation).  Standing are MPH Program Director Donald Warne and MPH students Melissa Olson, Nicki Cain, and Saurav Dahal. Approximately 25 community members from Fargo-Moorhead attended as well.
