Brock selected for 2016 IHS injury prevention epidemiology fellowship

Anita Brock, a Public Health Policy Project Manager for NDSU American Indian Public Health Research Center, was selected for the class of 2016 Indian Health Services (IHS) Injury Prevention Epidemiology Fellowship Class. The IHS IPE Fellowship class researches the field of injury prevention unique to American Indian/Alaska Native.

The first course of this fellowship will be held May 5-8, 2015, at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Ga. The course includes the design of quantitative injury prevention projects, review of epidemiologic approaches, ethical issues in data collection and publication, and conducting a literature review. The remaining courses focus on epidemiology and injury prevention field work with graduation in May 2016.
