A smudging ceremony kicked off NDSU camps for the NATURE campe and the Summer Undergraduate Research Program.

The Fargo Forum featured it in Section C: Metro + State on Tuesday, June 2. WDAY also had a story "Native American Youth Take Part In NDSU Camp For Students Interested In Science And Technology" which involved them filming during the ceremony.
