Tax Exempt on Amazon
NDSU is a tax exempt institution, we should not be charged tax on many purchases.
Why is there tax on my order?
There may be tax on your order if any of the following conditions apply:
- You haven't joined NDSU's Amazon Business Prime Account
- You ordered an item that will ship to a state where you do not hold any tax exemption - We only have Tax Exemption in ND
- You purchased an item where your tax exemption certificate does not apply
You can request a tax refund by contacting Amazon Business Customer Service at tax-exempt@amazon.com.
