As a scientist for The Nature Conservancy my research focuses on conservation and management of natural systems and the benefits they provide to people. My current research focuses on grassland conservation issues such as the importance of plant diversity to other ecosystem functions, how to manage grasslands to reduce undesirable species, implementing adaptive management, and developing measures for sustainable grazing. I am also leading our work to integrate climate adaptation strategies into our biodiversity conservation work.
