Hey y'all! My name is Ethan Townsend (he/him/his pronouns) and I'm the interm Hall Director for Cater and the Hall Director of Reed/Johnson! Originally, I am from Isanti, MN and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls (Go Falcons!) in May of 2024 with a degree in Criminology and Sociology. Later that same month, I moved up to Fargo to join the Residence Life team at NDSU. In my free time I like to play Dungeons and Dragons, play video games, work out, check out new places to eat, and spend time with my loved ones. Also, music is a huge part of my life, and I listen to everything from classical music and movie scores to heavy metal. My taste is always changing, but my favorite artists at the moment are Puscifer, Nine inch Nails, Joji, Manchester Orchestra, Trent Reznor + Atticus Ross, Jimmy Eat World.

I can't wait to meet y'all and help you as you begin your journey at NDSU. I look forward to helping all students have a great experience living on campus, and connecting y'all to the resources you need to be successful. I want to craft Cater and Reed/Johnson into a space where everyone can feel safe, accepted, and welcome. Feel free to reach out via email, or stop by my office if you need anything.

Welcome to the Cater community, we're glad you're here!
