Diversity Initiative Leaders (DIL)

Diversity Initiative Leaders are a group of student who come together to engage in dialogue about diverse topics, access resources, and participate in activities to learn about aspects of diversity.

DILs act as peer leaders by bringing specific activities to facilitate with their peers and encourage conversation in their hall communities about diverse topics.

Student Quotes:

"What excites me the most about DIL is being part of such interesting discussions that many other people would be nervous or scared to talk about," HaiVy C.

"I love DIL because it helps me better articulate and communicate topics related to diversity," Cody L.

"I wanted to be in DIL to further my education in diversity and to help further others thoughts of diversity," Mia H.

A Diversity Initiative Leader is part of each building’s hall government executive board. Students can self-nominate or be nominated by peers to serve in this role within their hall government. Apply using the link below now or during hall government elections. A Resident Assistant from each hall is a DIL as well. This creates a hall team who can collaborate on projects, activities, conversations and more.
