Summer Guest Housing

NDSU provides summer housing for individuals who are in the area for an internship or an event related to teaching, research, or public service.

Upon check-in, guests will receive a welcome booklet that provides full details for their stay. The below information is a brief overview.

  • Staff: MLLC has four student staff (RAs) available to guests, along with a full-time Hall Director. Your guests will receive the names, emails and room numbers of the RAs. Guests are encouraged to reach out to the MLLC Hall Director during the weekdays from 7:30am - 4pm at (701) 231-3221. Outside of those hours guests can call the on-call RA at (701) 793-9274.
  • Rooms: There are two room types, studios and four-bedroom units. All bedrooms have a single/twin bed, desk, chair, closet and dresser. Studios have a kitchenette, quads have a full kitchen with a table and chairs. Linens, pillows and towels are provided.    
  • Front desk hours: RAs have front desk hours every evening from 6-9pm. Daytime hours will be posted at the desk. During office hours guests can check out movies, games or sporting equipment.
  • Lounge areas: There is a lounge on 3rd floor with a tv and pool table. On 4th floor there is a lounge with excellent study tables as well as a whiteboard.
  • Laundry: Laundry rooms are located on every floor, and are coinless (free to guests).
  • Mail: Guests can receive mail on campus during their stay with NDSU.
  • Parking: Parking pass costs are included in the nightly charge. A parking pass will be provided at check-in.
Rate:

$25 per person, per night
Minimum staty of one week (7 days)

Rate includes: Parking, coinless laundry, cable, internet, and linens. 

  • NDSU Affiliated Partners: Your department will be invoiced after your guest/s check out. 
     
  • Non-NDSU Affiliated Guests: Payment must be provided prior to or at time of check-in, unless alternate arrangements have been made. Payments are non-refundable. Stay is subject to a 10.5% lodging tax.

Reservations:

Housing Request Form:

  1. Complete the Housing Request Form at least one week prior to your desired check-in date.
    • Only one request form needed per group.
    • Once received, Residence Life will connect with you to confirm availability and provide additional housing details, including the summer guest welcome information.
  2. Minimum stay of 1 week (7 days).
  3. Cancelations must be made no later than 2 days prior to your desired check-in date.
