Offices
Offices for faculty, staff and students are located in Hultz Hall, Walster Hall and Morrill Hall. For individual offices, please refer to the NDSU Agriculture Directory.

Research Laboratories 
Most faculty members have their own research labs, located in either Hultz or Walster Hall. There are also common-use labs that are equipped for more specialized research. Shared facilities include numerous walk-in growth chambers, a walk-in refrigerator and freezer and an autoclave. Facilities are also available for: 

• gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)
• liquid chromatography (LC)
• atomic absorption spectrophotemetry (AA)
• flow-injection analysis of nutrients (FIALab)
• total and organic carbon and nitrogen in liquid samples (TOC-V, TN)
• total carbon-nitrogen-sulfur in soil (CNS)
• analytical chemistry 

Teaching Laboratories
Hultz Hall and Walster Hall each have two teaching labs. These are used for both undergraduate and graduate courses. 

North Dakota State Insect Reference Collection
The North Dakota State Insect Reference Collection (NDSIRC) has been designated by the North Dakota Legislature as the State repository for insect specimens and it serves state, regional, national and world wide interests in the study of insects. 

NDSU Herbarium and Range Science Center
The North Dakota State University Herbarium has approximately 250,000 plant collections that date back to the late 1800s. The Herbarium is an important archive of North Dakota's as well as North America's natural history. The plant specimens in the Herbarium have been used by individuals across the nation in taxonomic studies, genetic studies, and more recently research on the effects of climate change. Many noted individuals have collections in the Herbarium including Walster, Waldron, and Stevens. Overall, the historic and natural history significance of the Herbarium is invaluable. 

North Dakota Ag Weather Network (NDAWN) Center
NDAWN consists of 144 stations distributed across North Dakota, the Red River Valley, and border regions of surrounding states. Stations provide hourly averages or totals for many weather variables, provide real time weather data, inversion monitoring, and soil moisture/temperatures. . 

Albert Ekre Grassland Preserve
The Albert Ekre Grassland Preserve is a farmstead and surrounding tall-grass prairie land that can be used for education and research purposes. 

Collaborative Facilities
North Dakota State University has many collaborative facilities that can be used by faculty, staff and students. Some of these facilities include the Agricultural Experiment Station Research Greenhouse Complex, Research Extension Centers, and the Electron Microscopy Center.
