Rights and Responsibilities of Community: A Code of Student Conduct

To ensure NDSU students have an opportunity to gain the most from their education, they are encouraged to participate as committed citizens of the community by acting in a civil and responsible manner, accepting responsibility for actions and serving as a positive role model for others. Citizenship includes knowing and following local, state and federal laws and the University's Code of Student Conduct. Every NDSU student has the responsibility to observe and help maintain a code of personal behavior that contributes to the educational effectiveness of the University.

The Code of Student Conduct identifies core values important to an educationally purposeful environment. These values are Respect for the NDSU Community and Respect for the Protection and Rights of Others. Our goal with this code is educational and developmental as we work with students.
