What is Academic Mentoring?
Students Helping Students.
Academic mentoring is more than just a support system—it's a collaborative journey toward achieving your goals. Our program fosters growth and development by connecting students with dedicated academic mentors who can help build essential skills like time management, study strategies, and critical thinking. Academic mentors are also there to guide you in navigating campus resources, boosting your confidence, and developing independent learning skills.
Our committed mentors play a crucial role in helping you navigate university life. From finding your way around campus to discovering valuable resources, they're here to assist you in building academic skills. They can provide the support you need to balance your coursework, manage your time effectively, and approach challenges with confidence.
Whether you're a first-year student getting acclimated to college life or a junior exploring internship opportunities, our Student Support Services academic mentors are equipped to offer invaluable assistance. Their guidance is designed to empower you on your academic journey and contribute to your overall success. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them for support, knowledge, and advice.
Academic Mentors can also offer College Major-specific mentoring—giving personalized support designed to guide you through your academic journey within your chosen field of study. Our mentors provide tailored insights, advice, and resources to help you succeed in your coursework and explore career opportunities. They’re committed to helping you achieve your academic and professional aspirations.
