Welcome Week activities are vital to your transition to and success at NDSU. Because of this, all incoming students are required to attend Welcome Week events during the following times:

• Saturday, August 24: Small Group Meeting, NDSUConnect and Dinner (Afternoon/Evening)
• Sunday, August 25: Small Group Meeting and NDSUBelong (Late Morning/Afternoon)
• Monday, August 26: Academic College Meeting, Walking through the Gates, Welcome to the Academy and Small Group Meeting (All Day)

Absences
If you need to request an absence for any of the required sessions listed above, please complete the Welcome Week Absence Form by August 16.

Approved absences for Welcome Week include:

• Caring for Dependents
• Military Training or Service
• Family Occasions (Wedding or Funeral)

Once the form is complete, we will communicate with you via your NDSU email.
