The Core Synthesis & Analytical Services Facility (CSASF) was established in April 2008 to assist with principal investigators’ research by providing synthetic and analytical services. We are equipped with state-of-art instrumentation and can carry out all modern synthetic techniques. We specialize in the synthesis of small molecules for biological applications. We also offer quantitative and qualitative analyses of substrates using HPLC, LC-MS, and GC-MS. The facility enjoys a successful track record of achievements through service, collaborations, and interdisciplinary interactions.

“The professional research and service from the Core Synthesis Facility was critical for our research. They successfully synthesized the commercially unavailable spin trap agent, D9-POBN.”Dr. Steven Qian, Pharmaceutical Sciences – NDSU
