Welcome!

The Collaborations in Discipline-Based Education Research (CiDER) program prepares early career researchers for success in discipline-based education research (DBER). We will integrate postdocs into our DBER community of practice and mentor them into research-based and research-validated teaching practices, establishing research collaborations, and building institutional navigation skills.

The CiDER program seeks to recruit a diverse pool of recent Ph.D. recipients (or students with nearly completed doctoral degrees) from a variety of backgrounds, including degrees in DBER, STEM education, education, and more traditional STEM fields (individuals who would like to transition into DBER through a postdoctoral research experience).
