Fargo-Moorhead enjoys four full seasons, with sunshine approximately 200 days of the year.

• Spring is regularly warm and sunny around the end of March into April.
• Summers are warm and pleasant with very few days of high heat or humidity.  The sun is typically up for 15 hours, perfect for taking advantage of the outdoors!
• Autumn is delightfully crisp and cool; peak leaf color-watching time is usually the first week in October.
• Winters are cold but not damp; skies are frequently sunny. Winter weather is comparable to Minneapolis and Chicago. Snowfall averages 36 inches and great for trying out snowshoeing at one of the local parks or golf courses.
