The Viking Chapter of the International Microelectronics Assembly And Packaging Society, known as IMAPS, is scheduled to hold a microelectronics summit Friday, Oct. 18, at NDSU Research 1.
Open to the public, the summit includes speakers from industry and education, poster sessions and tours. Scheduled speakers include:
- Mark Hoffmeyer, IBM Systems and Technology Group
- Aaron Reinholz, NDSU Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering
- Kristi Jean, North Dakota State College of Science
- David Batcheller, Appareo Systems
- Valery Marinov, NDSU associate professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering
- Om Yadav, NDSU associate professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering
- Fred Haring, NDSU Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering
Onsite registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. followed by poster sessions, presentations and tours until concluding at 5:00 p.m.

Co-sponsors of the summit include the Viking Chapter of the society, NDSU, Starkey Hearing Alliance, and the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp.
