Four members of the NDSU softball team have been named National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar Athletes. 

The recognized student-athletes are Alyssa Reina, Jackie Stifter, Katie Soukup and Presley Glaser.

The award is given to any student-athlete who achieved at least a 3.50 grade-point average during the 2012-13 school year.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
