NDSU to co-host equestrian author, Equine Center tour

The NDSU equine science program and New Rivers Press are scheduled to host a tour of the NDSU Equine Center and a book reading on Friday, Nov. 8, at 9 a.m. 

The Equine Center, which is part of the North Dakota Horse Park, is at 5140 19th Ave. N., Fargo.

Author Sian Griffiths will read from her debut novel, "Borrowed Horses," and be available to answer questions. Griffiths is an assistant professor of English at Weber State University. She has worked with the U.S. Olympic equestrian team.

Copies of the book will be for sale at the horse park. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the NDSU equestrian team.
