Musical Theatre Troupe to present 'Celebrate the Musical'

The NDSU Musical Theatre Troupe, under the director of Katherine Noone, is scheduled to present “Celebrate the Musical: A Tribute to Little Country Theatre’s 100th Anniversary” Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. in Askanase Auditorium.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors.

Over the last several decades NDSU Theatre has produced some of America’s most beloved musicals, including “The Fantasticks,” “West Side Story,” “The Music Man,” “Cabaret” and “Oklahoma!” Theatre alumni and NDSU students will present songs and dance featuring popular tunes from the musicals.

Theatre alumni and supporters are invited to join students and faculty at a gala dinner, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at the NDSU Harry D. McGovern Alumni Center. Tickets are $25 each and include dinner and the performance. Call 701-231-7932 or visit www.ndsu.edu/performingarts for details.
