2014 Dairy Cow College dates set

Dates for the 2014 Dairy Cow College have been scheduled. The program is a joint educational effort of the NDSU Extension Service and Midwest Dairy Association, in cooperation with the NDSU Department of Animal Sciences and Extension offices in Barnes, Dunn, Emmons, McIntosh, Morton, Oliver, Stark/Billings and Stutsman Counties.

The dates and locations for this year's programs are:

• Feb. 3: Linton, N.D., at the KEM Electric Cooperative

• Feb. 4: Dickinson, N.D., at the Elks Lodge

• Feb. 5: New Salem, N.D., at the Morton County Fairground’s Youth Building

• Feb. 6: Jamestown, N.D., at the Gladstone Inn and Suites

Major topics include reducing feed bunk losses, zoonotic disease concerns and succession planning.
