Second session in webinar series offered for NDSU faculty

All NDSU faculty and instructors are invited to participate in the second webinar in a free webinar series offered by NDSU Distance and Continuing Education through its membership in the Learning Resource Network’s (LERN) Society for Faculty Development. The following topics are included in the webinar series.

Continual Engagement: Fostering Online Discussion

Thursday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m.

Learn practical how-to techniques for increasing student comments, discussion and interaction in your online and hybrid courses from the author of the book, Continual Engagement: Fostering Online Discussion.” Learn strategies from someone who has taught more than 1,000 faculty how to engage students online.

Thursday, March 13, at 1 p.m.

Discover 11 tips to enable learning and completion while maintaining academic quality and challenge. The material is relevant for both classroom and online courses. The no-cost, advanced, practical how-to techniques produce results.
