Voter identification laws to be discussed in brown bag series

The next session of the Compass Program Foundation Brown Bag Series at NDSU will examine voter identification laws.

Amanda Cotylo, American Association of University Women state organizer, is scheduled to present “The New Voter ID Laws in North Dakota” Wednesday, March 26, at noon in the Memorial Union Arikara room.

Cotylo will examine new voting laws copping up across the nation and provide an update of what identification is required to vote in North Dakota. She will discuss how this pertains to college students, many of whom are from out of state.

The talk is co-sponsored by women and gender studies. For more information, contact erienne.fawcett@ndsu.edu.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
