Distance and Continuing Education secretary/receptionist to retire

June Perrizo, secretary/receptionist in the NDSU Office of Distance and Continuing Education, is set to retire June 4. Perrizo joined the office in April 2008.

“June has been a friendly face to greet students, faculty and staff who come to the office and was an excellent resource for individuals who called the office in need of assistance,” said Lisa Nordick, director of Distance and Continuing Education.

In May 2007, Perrizo began her career at NDSU in the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences. Prior to that, she spent six years working in the Office of Continuing Education, Training and Innovation at Bismarck State College.

Among other hobbies and activities, Perrizo plans to spend time at her lake cabin with her husband, children and grandchildren. She and her husband also plan to travel.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
