Doctoral dissertation assistantships program announced

The North Dakota Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, known as ND EPSCoR, is seeking Doctoral Dissertation Assistantships proposals. The request for proposals is available at www.ndepscor.nodak.edu. Applications are due by May 28 at noon.

Applications must be made by the students, with supplemental information provided by their advisors, along with endorsement from their department’s graduate program director and department chair.

The Doctoral Dissertation Assistantships program is designed to increase the completion rate of doctoral students enrolled in the science, engineering and mathematics disciplines at North Dakota’s two research-intensive universities; and to increase the number of competitive proposals submitted to the National Science Foundation.

North Dakota EPSCoR is a federally and state funded program designed to improve the ability of university researchers to compete more effectively for federal, regional and private research grants in the sciences, engineering and mathematics.

For more information on the Doctoral Dissertation Assistantships program opportunity, visit www.ndepscor.nodak.edu/programs/ndsuDDA2015RFP.htm.
