Biological sciences seminar to examine wildlife ecology

The NDSU Department of Biological Sciences is scheduled to present "How Seasonal Camouflage Hides Animals while Revealing Mysteries of Climate Change," a presentation by L. Scott Mills from the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University, Raleigh. The seminar is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 3 p.m. in Van Es 101. 

Mills is a professor in the Chancellor’s Faculty Excellence Program in Global Environmental Change and Human Well-Being. Wildlife population ecology is his area of expertise.

Mills earned a bachelor's degree at North Carolina State University, a master's in wildlife ecology at Utah State University and a doctorate in biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
