Nominations sought for student service award

Nominations are being accepted for the 2015 Sarah Martinsen Outstanding Service Award, which recognizes students who have provided outstanding service in our community.

Each year, an NDSU student is selected for the award, which honors the memory of Sarah Martinsen, a junior at NDSU on her first Students Today Leaders Forever Pay it Forward Tour, who died in Pensacola, Florida, on March 16, 2010.

The NDSU Memorial Union and the NDSU Volunteer Network remembers Martinsen with the annual award.

To nominate a student, visit http://bit.ly/1wK98qN to download a nomination form. Also submit an additional letter of recommendation.

Completed applications should be emailed to the NDSU Volunteer Network at ndsu.volunteer.network@ndsu.edu no later than Wednesday, April 1, at 5 p.m.

For any additional questions, contact Hailey Goplen, assistant director for service-learning and civic engagement at hailey.goplen@ndsu.edu.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
