Communication faculty member publishes research in two journals

Crawford Jackson

Elizabeth Crawford Jackson, associate professor of communication, recently had two research articles published.

She co-wrote "Crossing cross-platform: Comparing skills preferences and convergence attitudes in strategic communication and news disciplines" that was published in Journalism and Mass Communication Educator.

Established in 1944, Journalism and Mass Communication Educator addresses the professional needs of the journalism and mass communication educators and administrators on the collegiate and secondary levels. It is the largest, highest circulation and oldest of any scholarly journal devoted to education in journalism, public relations, advertising, mass communication, media studies and related fields.

Crawford Jackson also wrote "Exceptional people: An exceptional medium. In D. Abrahamson and M. Prior-Miller (eds.)" that appeared in The Routledge Handbook of Magazine Research: The Future of the Magazine Form.

A journalist from The Telegraph newspaper in Calcutta, India, contacted her for an article related to the second publication.
