NDSU Tapestry of Diverse Talents inducts new members

Seven people were inducted into the NDSU Tapestry of Diverse Talents at a ceremony Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the Memorial Union Century Theatre.

The inductees include:

• Erika Berg, associate professor of equine science

• Darcy Corbitt-Hall, doctoral graduate teaching assistant in psychology

• Mark Strand, professor of pharmacy practice

• Samee Khan, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering

• Sajid Asif, doctoral graduate assistant in electrical and computer engineering

• Sayeed Sajal, graduate student in electrical and computer engineering

• Mariah Bock, a senior majoring in human development and family science

The tapestry is a pictorial mosaic that recognizes students, faculty, staff and alumni for the contributions to diversity they bring to NDSU including but not limited to areas of age, race, socioeconomic status, religion, veterans, mental ability, physical ability, ethnicity, sex and sexual orientation.

Since the Tapestry of Diverse Talents began in 1993, more than 160 individuals have been inducted.
