NDSU's Information Technology Division has hired Suhan Vethanayagam as a system administrator in the Enterprise Computing and Infrastructure Department. 

Before coming to NDSU, Vethanayagam began his professional career in 2013 as an operating system engineer for Wells Fargo. He then worked as a UNIX engineer for TIAA-CREF from 2014-15. Both positions were located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Vethanayagam earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at NDSU  and is pursuing his master’s degree in computer science. While attending NDSU, he served as a student employee in the Information Technology Division’s Technology Learning and Media Center and IT Help Desk. He also was a research assistant for the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute and student tutor for Orientation and Student Success.
