Bison Card Center changes name, new cards coming

McCrory

NDSU's Bison Card Center has a new name – the NDSU Card Center. The center is where members of the campus community receive their NDSU ID Card.

According to Wendy McCrory, Card Center associate director, a new card design will be distributed in the late spring or early summer to reflect the change.

"The new design has a vertical orientation, which we haven’t had before," McCrory said, noting current cards will still be accepted for campus transactions. "The new card features the Bison statue in the background; it’s classy. We hadn’t changed our design since 2008, and it was time for a fresh look."

There is no need to replace a card for a current cardholder.

McCrory said the Bison Bucks name also is changing to Campus Cash. Campus Cash is available for any person with a campus affiliation. Funds are deposited to the cardholder’s account at the NDSU Card Center or Design and Sign in the Memorial Union. Funds also can be deposited online. Benefitted staff can enroll in Campus Cash on an inclining balance, payroll deduction account. See the NDSU Card Center’s website for information where Campus Cash is accepted.
