Baroque Festival concerts scheduled

NDSU’s Challey School of Music is set to present the Baroque Festival 2017 on Jan. 21-22. Two concerts are scheduled at Peace Lutheran Church, 1011 12th Ave. N. in Fargo.

On Saturday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m., student musicians and soloists will perform works by Bach, Handel, Purcell and Strozzi. Admission is free and open to the public.

The festival will conclude on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. with a faculty chamber concert. The concert will feature works by Bach, Couperin, Handel and others. Tickets to the faculty concert are only available at the door and are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors/students and free for NDSU students with ID.
