A variety of educational events are planned for NDSU’s International Week 2017 Feb. 6-10, sponsored by NDSU International Student and Study Abroad Services.
Monday, Feb. 6
Parade of Nations, 1 p.m., Memorial Union Plains room
International Week begins as students carry flags of their home countries through the Glenn A. Hill Center and Memorial Union. A reception is scheduled in the Butte Lounge.
Travel Journaling, 4-5 p.m. Memorial Union Hidatsa room
Learn to collect your photos, doodles and ticket stubs in an easy travel journal to treasure.
Tuesday, Feb. 7
"A Day in the Life": 2-3 p.m., Memorial Union Mandan room
Study abroad and international students will share their experiences.
Wednesday, Feb. 8
“Diversi-Tea” 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Memorial Union Room of Nations
Learn about the tea plant, try different types of tea and discover how tea relates to diversity.
Thursday, Feb. 9
Study Abroad Fair, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thundar's Den in the Memorial Union
Talk to faculty leaders, affiliate providers and study abroad students to learn about opportunities.
Friday, Feb. 10
“Is There a Fulbright in your Future?” Noon -1 p.m., E. Morrow Lebedeff Hall 324
Join NDSU Fulbright program advisers to learn about fully-paid grants for U.S. students to teach, study or research in more than 140 countries.
Feb. 6 to Feb. 10
Memorial Union Gallery
Gallery A will feature “Memorabilia: Faculty Collections from Post-Socialist Eurasia,” which includes works from several countries influenced by Soviet rule. Gallery B will display “Cuba: Works by Kimble Bromley.” Paintings by the NDSU professor of visual arts represent his visit to Cuba before it was opened up for visits by U.S. citizens.

Enjoy global cuisine from NDSU Dining centers and Memorial Union retail outlets.
·Monday-Friday: The coffee shop in the Memorial Union will feature five International Week “Drinks of the Day.”
· Wednesday, Feb. 8: Residence Dining Center will have a “Taste of India” lunch.
· Thursday, Feb. 9: Union Dining will feature a “Taste of Thailand” dinner.
· Friday, Feb. 10: West Dining Center will have a “Taste of Mexico” breakfast.
