Awards luncheon set for annual student innovation challenge

Winners of Innovation Challenge 2017 will be announced at an awards luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28. The annual student innovation competition features new, unique or re-imagined products and services developed by NDSU students. Teams are competing for $26,000 in prizes.

The luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fargodome. Parking is free and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Doors open at 11 a.m. Reservations are requested by Friday, Feb. 23.

The keynote speaker is Scott A. Beaulier, dean of the NDSU College of Business. His talk is titled “Academic Alchemy: Melding learning with doing in business education.”

The Innovation Challenge is made possible by the NDSU Research and Technology Park in partnership with the NDSU Office of the Provost.
