NDSU junior A.J. Jacobson was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District men's basketball team for the second year in a row. The was announced Feb. 9 by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Jacobson will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors. He earned third-team Academic All-America recognition last season as a sophomore.

Jacobson, who is from Fargo, has a 3.99 cumulative GPA with a zoology/pre-dentistry major.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution.
