The campus community and the public is invited to “An Evening of Storytelling, Short Films and Art with Steven Paul Judd,” scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Harry D. McGovern Alumni Center.

The free event is sponsored by the NDSU Office of Multicultural Programs, 4H Drumsticks Group and the FM Native American Center.

Judd, a Kiowa and Choctaw from Oklahoma, is a filmmaker, director, screenwriter, fiction writer and visual artist. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America and was a staff writer for Disney’s XD Comedy Series, “Zeke and Luther.” In addition, he designed the cover art and merchandise for “A Tribe Called Red” and his "War Paint" mural is on display at Indian Alley in Los Angeles.

“Being a follower of Steven’s work and his artistic ability, I am able to release the boundaries that confines the visual concepts of my imagination and expand my horizon,” said Jered Pigeon, Office of Multicultural Programs program coordinator. “I invite the campus and the community at large to come join us and witness the authentic, creative and stimulating Native American literature shared with a modern spin."
