NDSU spring music tour announced

The NDSU Concert Choir and Madrigal Singers will present the 2017 Spring Tour concert series in March. The program features three new works: “The New Moon” by Nicholas Ryan Kelly, winner of the 2016 Fissinger Prize; “I Will Come to You” by NDSU student Michael Fairbairn; and “Hummingbird,” a collaboration by Jocelyn Hagen and electronic musician Spearfisher.

Jo Ann Miller, University Distinguished Professor of music, conducts the Concert Choir and Michael Weber, associate director of choral activities, conducts the Madrigal Singers.

Featured during Lenten service, singing a small selection of the tour program

• Thursday, March 16, 7:30 p.m.

with the La Crosse Chamber Chorale, Paul Rusterholz, conductor

• Friday, March 17, 7:30 p.m.
