Evolutionary ecologist to speak at NDSU

An evolutionary ecologist is set to present the next biological sciences seminar at NDSU.

Kim Scribner, professor in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University, East Lansing, is scheduled to present “Ecological, Demographic, and Genetic Complexities Underlying Recruitment Dynamics Revealed through Studies of Long-Lived Iteroparous Species” Friday, Oct. 27, at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114.

Everyone is welcome.

Scribner’s research interests include population genetics and vertebrate life history, demography and behavior. He earned his bachelor’s degree at University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point; his master’s degree in wildlife science at Texas Tech University and his doctorate in zoology from the University of Georgia.

Scribner’s presentation is sponsored by the Department of Biological Sciences, the environmental and conservation sciences graduate program and the Cooperative Sponsorship Committee.
