NDSU golfers Andrew Israelson and Natalie Roth were named to the Summit League men’s and women's golf academic all-league teams, announced May 23.

Roth, a senior from Lake Park, Minnesota, has a 3.43 grade-point average as a psychology major and made the academic all-league team for the second consecutive year. She was the individual runner-up at the Summit League championship and finished second in the league with a 73.55 scoring average. Roth is a three-time All-Summit League first team performer.

Israelson, a sophomore from Staples, Minnesota, has a 3.78 GPA majoring in marketing. He led the league with a 72.70 scoring average and turned in 13 rounds at or below par.

To be considered for the academic all-league golf team, student-athletes must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA, have completed at least one full academic year at the current institution, and participated in 50 percent of their team's completed competitions. The voting panel includes faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors from league schools.
