Larry Peterson, chair of the NDSU General Education Committee, was chosen as president-elect of the Council for the Administration of General and Liberal Studies at its annual business meeting in St. Louis on Oct. 2.

The mission of the Council for the Administration of General and Liberal Studies is to provide information, support and materials leading to solutions for general education administrators. The council grew out of group meetings of interested general education administrators during the annual meetings of other national higher education organizations including the Association for American Colleges and Universities, The American Association for Higher Education and the Association for General and Liberal Studies.
