NDSU’s Office of International Student and Study Abroad Servicesis now a certified passport acceptance facility. With the designation, the office will serve U.S. citizens of NDSU and the local area who are seeking a passport.

The office will begin to accept applications Aug. 15 by appointment only.

“Having a U.S. passport acceptance facility here in our office will provide NDSU students, staff and faculty, and the Fargo-Moorhead community an additional location to submit U.S. passport applications,” said Alicia Kauffman, director of International Student and Study Abroad Services. “Also, the NDSU Card Center takes passport photos for only $10, which includes two photos. Both the Office of International Student and Study Abroad Services and the NDSU Card Center are located on the main level of the Memorial Union, which makes the process even more convenient.”

Appointment hours for U.S. passport application processing in the Office of International Student and Study Abroad Services are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office is located in Memorial Union 116.

Kauffman asks interested persons to make appointments through the office’s website.

As a student-focused, land grant, research institution, we serve our citizens.
