Gender equality activist to give NDSU presentation

Renowned cultural theorist Jackson Katz is scheduled to present “Gender, Race, and Violence” on Monday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

Katz is an author and filmmaker, who is internationally known for his activism on issues of gender, race and violence. He is a major figure and thought leader in the global movementof men working to promote gender equality and prevent gender violence.

The presentation is sponsored by NDSU Athletics, NDSU’s Equity Office, Residence Life, Campus Attractions, Student Health Service and NDSU’s women and gender studies program, with support from the NDSU Bookstore.
