NDSU senior Annika Rotvold and sophomore Kelby Anderson were voted to The Summit League’s women’s cross country Academic All-League team, and senior distance runner Elliott Stone was named to The Summit League’s men’s cross country Academic All-League team

Rotvold, from Hillsboro, North Dakota, has a 3.96 cumulative grade point average with a major in biological sciences. This is the second straight year she has been recognized as Academic All-League. Anderson, from Bismarck, North Dakota, has a 3.87 cumulative GPA in nursing. NDSU was the only school with two selections to the five-woman team.

Stone, from Bismarck, North Dakota, is a mechanical engineering major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, earning first-team All-Summit League honors for the second year in a row. He also was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America first team in Division I men’s track and field and cross country for the 2017-18 season.

To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30, completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team’s competitions. The honorees are selected by the league institutions’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
