The student-led 800 Café plans an “Under the Sea” meal for Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29,  on the third floor of the Katherine K. Burgum Family Life Center in room 312. Seating begin at 11 a.m. and the last seating starts at 12:15 p.m. 

The meal begins with a romaine and spinach salad topped with fresh mandarin oranges, water chestnuts, craisins and almonds. The salad is served with a homemade honey Dijon mustard dressing. The main dish is maple glazed salmon served over a bed of roasted asparagus, and will be served alongside crab mashed potatoes with a fresh lemon citronette. A watermelon fruit pizza will be served to finish the meal.

The meal is managed by students Linh Tran and Walker Lee.

The meal costs $10 per person, with beverages included. A punch card can also be purchased at the price of $35 for four meals. Payments may be in the form of cash or check at the door on the day of the meal. Due to limited seating, reservations are preferred, but walk-ins also are welcomed.

When making a reservation, indicate your preferred serving time, number of attendees, email and phone number of the person who oversees the reservation. In addition, indicate any allergies when making the reservation.

The class is instructed by Sherri Nordstrom Stastny, professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences. 

Parking is available in the visitor’s pay lot on the south side of the Memorial Union on campus.
